PURPOSE: A method for managing a BW(BandWidth) of a PVC(Permanent Virtual Connection) is provided to efficiently manage a corresponding BW, before a reservation start time and after a reservation end time, in a reserved mode PVC, and to prevent the shortage of BW resources. CONSTITUTION: Whether an inputted command for a PVC(Permanent Virtual Connection) is for connection setup or connection cancellation is checked. If a connection setup command is inputted, the allocation of resources necessary for the connection setup is requested. The state of a resource allocation mode is searched. If the resource allocation mode is a fixed mode, whether a BW(BandWidth) for allocating the requested resources exists is decided. If exists, the requested resources are allocated and a message of setting/canceling the connection is transmitted to an operator terminal. |
