The invention relates to an automatic watering mechanism for flower pots or boxes. Said watering mechanism is composed of specially-shaped plates (1) bearing two or several tubular water inlet and outlet ends (2) interconnected with elastic pipes (9). Ordinary flower pots can be placed into said plates of the proportionate size (similar bases should be also used for flower boxes); b) one or several special water containers furnished with a float mechanism (6,7) and two or three small-sized taps (8) at their base to supply water, via elastic piping, to an array of flower pots-plates and a second similar water container situated at a lower level from the first which will, in turn, supply water to a new array of flower pots-plates and, possibly, a new water container similar to the others and situated at a far lower level and so on. Water supply will be automatically stopped when the water reaches a definite height in the water containers and plates. The water container, which is situated at the highest level, will be connected via an elastic pipe (5) with the water supply (tap) (4). |
