CERAMIC STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic structure which is capable of sufficiently releasing thermal impact without lowering effective cross sectional area or the strength of the whole structure of the ceramic structure and which is widely utilized to uses or materials of the ceramic structure. SOLUTION: The ceramic structure is obtained by integrally combining plural ceramic sintered compact segments having a coefficient of thermal expansion of >=3.0×10-6/ deg.C. Relief zones capable of releasing thermal impact are provided between each segment and the widths of the relief zones for the thermal impact in the cross sectional direction are changed.
