PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a uniform and transparent color coating liquid composition capable of being prepared so as to have optional physical properties without using dispersants. SOLUTION: This color coating liquid composition comprises a metal alkoxide and/or a hydrolyzed condensate of the metal alkoxide and a latent pigment. The color coating liquid composition can be used for a photoabsorption filter for a specific wavelength rage of a display device by coating a material having light transmissivity therewith. Besides, a colored glass bottle capable of being recycled as a transparent cullet can be produced by coating the glass bottle with the color coating liquid composition.
