PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hose reel capable of reducing the size at packing with a drum kept unchanged in size. SOLUTION: A hose reel body 2 comprises the drum 4 wound with a sprinkler hose, a support member 5 rotatably supporting the drum 4, and leg sections 52 foldably fitted to the support member 5. The width size Wa when the leg sections 52 are folded is set equal to the diameter D of the drum 4. The drum 4 is journalled to the support member 5 so that they are stored between a first virtual plane F1 vertically kept in contact with the drum 4 at both side wall sections along the longitudinal direction of the drum 4 and a second virtual plane F2 vertically kept in contact with both side wall sections of the drum 4 in parallel with the first virtual plane F1 with the leg sections 52 folded.
