PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an eidoptometric instrument with which a wrong eye among right or left eyes can be prevented from tested and a test can be effectively performed in the test (eidoptometry). SOLUTION: The instrument is provided with a visual target display part for displaying a visual target to a person to be examined, an eye shielding tool used for shielding the visual field of one eye by being held with one hand of the person, a tested-eye discriminating means for discriminating right and left eyes to be examined free from shielding by the eye shielding tool, a transmitting means for transmitting discrimination information by the discrimination means by wireless, a receiving means for receiving the transmitted signals, and an outputting means for outputting the received discrimination information of the examined eye.
