PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To separately and suitably generate a water image and a fat image even when independent signal areas exist plurally in a complex number image picked up by using magnetic resonance. SOLUTION: In order that water and fat may have a phase difference, the complex number image is picked up by using magnetic resonance (J1) to be given phase correction respectively in respective signal areas independently and plurally existing in the complex number image (J3). Then, phase shifting between the respective signal areas is corrected (J4) and the water image and the fat image are generated separately from the complex number image by using the phase difference between the water and fat (J5).
