PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a film of a doped electrically conductive polymer. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing a doped electrically conductive polymeric film comprises coating a solution containing an electrically conductive polymer composed of a repeating unit having a >=4C substituent and a dopant selected from salts capable of oxidizing the polymer at a molar ratio of the dopant to the repeating unit of 2:1 to 1:3 on a substrate, and then, removing the solvent.
