PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a replacement nozzle for an electric vacuum cleaner which has no suction hose or is short. SOLUTION: A connecting opening 900 closed by a rotating door 907 at all times is provided for a part of a suction channel 901 to connect a head to filter. The joining end 905 of a hose 904 for a replacement nozzle in which a replacement nozzle 910 is mounted to one end 906 is inserted into the connecting opening 900 to close a head-side channel 902, and the replacement nozzle 910 is connected to a filter-side suction channel 903.
