PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel support device easily and surely locking a fastening tool by using any fastening tool. SOLUTION: A cup-shaped cap 16 formed of a thin steel plate by a press work is press-fitted in the inside diameter of a pilot part 15 of a wheel fitting flange for attaching a hexagon head bolt 14 as a fastening tool of an outer ring 5 of a constant velocity universal joint. A projection 19 formed in the outside diameter face of the cap 16 is circumferentially locked to the side face of a small recess 18b provided in the inside diameter face of the pilot part 15, and a square part 20 of a cylinder 17 formed inside the cap 16 is engaged with the head part hexagon of the hexagon heady bolt 14 so that the cylinder part 17 is fitted around the head part of the hexagon head bolt 14, and the hexagon head bolt 14 is locked to the inside diameter of the pilot part 15 in the circumferential direction of the loosened side via the cap 16.
