PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire mount type cargo handling machine capable of stably supporting a machine body at the cargo handling work and increasing the safety and efficiency of the cargo handling work. SOLUTION: Outriggers 5a, 5b, 5c, 5d have a vertically unexpansible rigid structure. Travel sections 4a, 4b, 4c, 4d constituted of pneumatic tires are made liftable by hydraulic cylinders. At a travel, the machine body 2 is supported by only all travel sections 4a, 4b, 4c, 4d through the expansion/shrinkage of the hydraulic cylinders. At the cargo handling work, a travel section located near an outrigger probably having the minimum ground pressure when the machine body 2 is supported by only the outriggers 5a, 5b, 5c, 5d is selected, and the machine body 2 is supported by three travel sections except for this travel section and all outriggers 5a, 5b, 5c, 5d.
