The invention relates to a screw driver employed in mounting, maintenance and attendance activities for equipment, machines and installations. According to the invention, the screw driver comprises an upper handle (1) screwed into a lower handle (2) wherein a piston (5) slides, said piston (5) being integral with a rod (12) and supported by a spring (9). Another piston (4) slides into the upper handle (1), said piston (4) being integral with a mushroom head (10) by means of a rod (3). A spring (6), a ball bearing (7) and a stop (8) are mounted between the mushroom head (10) and the upper handle (1). The gap between the pistons (4 and 5) is filled with liquid (11).
