The invention relates to a system and method for automatic connection of vehicles and other mobile machines to stationary or mobile supply sources for the transfer of fuel, gas and/or energy from a supply source to the vehicle. The system and method encompass a partially rigid transfer element (3) wherein lines for the intended transfer and a plug-in device (2) are installed, an extension and retraction device (1) adapted for the transfer element, which is arranged to extend the transfer element (3) and the plug-in device (2) at a certain horizontal angle (hv) in the direction of travel (dd) and/or a certain vertical angle (vv) in relation to the horizontal plane plus a supply station (fs), that is adapted for the extension angle (hv) for reception of the transfer element (3) and direction to an associated output device (17), in order to achieve the connection of the named plug-in device and output device. |
