PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanner enabling to provide a color image without color slippage at a low cast. SOLUTION: In the optical scanner 1, Mj pieces of beam groups each consisting of Ni pieces of beams are made incident on each reflective surface of a light deflector 5 so that the spacing between the beam groups may increase monotonically from one end, and the beam group of one end with the smallest spacing between beam groups is made incident so as to intersect a beam deflected by a light deflector. Thereby, in image-formation characteristics of the beam of M group, that is, differences in the variation of the spherical aberration or the beam diameter, and the difference in the curvature of the scanning line between beam groups are reduced. Therefore, the degradation of an image quality can be prevented. In addition, the size of the optical scanner is also reduced. |
