WALL-SURFACE INSPECTING METHOD AND DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a technical means for bringing sensors and their accessory devices for inspecting tunnels and shelters close to a curved wall surface without collision and to set and move their positions. SOLUTION: One or a plurality of sensors and a plurality of guide wheels are mounted to a band-shaped flexible flame with an elastically restoring force in a direction of returning to a straight line. The flexible flame is biased toward a wall surface to bring the guide wheels into contact with the wall surface to curve the flexible flame. Then the wail surface is measured to move the sensors along the wall surface by moving the flexible flame in a curved state in a longitudinal direction, in a direction which intersects the length at right angles, or in a slantingly intersecting direction.
