PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste matter disposal system which can effectively prevent the explosion or the like at combustion of clean gas. SOLUTION: This waste matter disposal system 30 is equipped with a clean gas producer 10 which produces clean gas from waste matter, a combustor 12 which combusts clean gas, and an exhaust gas disposer 20 which deposes the exhaust gas after combustion. The first gas pipe 14 connects the clean gas producer 10 with the combustor 12, and the second gas pipe 16 connects the combustor 12 with the exhaust gas disposer 20. This system is provided with a bypass pipe 18 from the fork 14a of the first gas pipe 14 to the fork 16a of the second gas pipe 16, and is provided with the first opening and closing valve 15 between the fork 14a of the first gas pipe and the combustor 12, and is provided with a bypass opening and closing valve 19 in the bypass pipe 18. A valve controller 24 controls the first opening and closing valve 15 and the bypass opening and closing valve 19, based on the concentration of oxygen of clean gas measured with an oxygen concentration sensor 23.
