<p>A crepe making machine comprises a revolving drum with radial plates around its circumference, and an oscillating, inserting sword for pushing the folds into the spaces between the plates, together with a holding sword to retain the fold immediately after its insertion; the movement of the inserting sword in the reverse direction (against drum rotation) is limited by a stop, while that of the holding sword is limited by the inserting sword when up against this stop. The swords are moved independently of one another, pref. by revolving ams. In a preferred embodiment, the stroke of each sword can be varied by altering the position of its pivot point.</p> |
