PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a direct view and reflective liquid crystal display device with a high quality display equipped with a transparent substrate such as a touch panel or a protective plate. SOLUTION: A polarizing plate 23 on the front side of a liquid crystal cell 2 is mounted on the rear side of a fixing substrate 4 of a resistance film type touch panel 1. A transparent film 32 is mounted on the front side of the liquid crystal cell via an adhesive 31. A reflection preventing layer 33 is formed on the surface of the transparent film 32. A polarizing plate 24 on the rear side with a reflection plate is mounted on the rear side of the liquid crystal cell 2. The touch panel 1 on which the polarizing plate 23 is mounted and the liquid crystal cell 2 are fixed holding a gap as shown in the figure. |
