PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a textile softener composition capable of imparting desirable softness, an bulky feeling (full touch) and a smooth feeling almost without greasiness to textile products, especially to cotton goods, and capable of restraining change in color due to washing. SOLUTION: This textile softener composition comprises (a) a compound having at least one 8-36C hydrocarbon group, at least one quaternary ammonium group and at least one tertiary amino group in a molecule and (b) an anionic surfactant in a specific ionic equivalent ratio.
