PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the structure of a steam turbine. SOLUTION: A cooling steam pipe 2 passed from an outer turbine casing 1 is fixed to a balance plug insertion hole 9 of a dummy ring 8 through a thermal shield 4. A balance plug hole 10 is positioned opposite to the inner end of the cooling steam pipe 2. The balance plug insertion hole 9 communicates with a rotor cascade 12 via a cooling steam passage 11. A joint fitting 13, having the structure for dividing the cooling passage, is fitted to an outer end of the cooling steam pipe 2. A balance plug insertion port 14 is provided on the extension line of the cooling steam pipe 2 and remains always closed by a cover 15 except at the time for adjustment. A steam passage hole 16 for connecting piping is provided in a different surface of the joint fitting 13. By having the balance plug adjusting structure and the cooling steam lead-in structure unify with each other, structure of a steam turbine is simplified. |
