<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the corrosion of a stainless steel member constituting a heating apparatus due to hot supply water, in the heating apparatus for heating hot supply water. SOLUTION: An electrically nonconducting fluoroplastic layer 11 is provided on the surface of the stainless steel member 10, constituting the heating apparatus 5 on the side coming into contact with hot supply water. With this constitution, deterioration in the insulation of the heating apparatus 5 caused by the stress corrosion crackings of the stainless steel member 10 is eliminated, and the functions of the heating apparatus 5 can be maintained even when the apparatus is used over a long period. Also the contamination of hot supply water due to the elution of the stainless steel member 10 or to a corrosion product can be prevented and clean hot supply water can always be provided.</p> |
