PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the responsiveness of a potentiometer for controlling the rotational speed of an electric motor and to reduce the operation power of an operation lever required for operating the potentiometer. SOLUTION: The electric working machine 10 is constituted of operation handles 19 extended from a vehicle frame 11 provided with driving wheels 35 for crawler belts 13 and the electric motor 14 for driving the wheels 35 to the rear direction and of respective grips 41 fitted to the end parts of the handles 19. The potentiometer 50 for controlling the rotational speed of the motor 14 and the operation lever 60 for operating the potentiometer 50 are arranged in the vicinity of each grip 41 in mutually adjacent state. Thereby the potentiometer 50 can be directly operated by the lever 60.
