PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display panel which can more completely prevent a diffusion of discharge onto a bus electrode and prevent increase of discharge current which does not contribute to the light emission. SOLUTION: This plasma display panel includes row electrode pair (X, Y) extending in a row direction to rear side of a front glass substrate 1 and being formed in parallel in column direction for forming display lines, respectively, transparent electrodes Xa, Ya, and buss electrodes Xb, Yb being formed with a dielectric layer 2 for covering the row electrode pair and opposing to each row electrode X, Y in the form of pair. Increased height of dielectric layers 20A are formed at the front glass substrate 1 of the dielectric layer 2 and portions opposing to the buss electrodes Xb, Yb of the opposite side, and an angle of wall, to which the transparent electrodes Xa, Ya of the increased height of dielectric layers 20A extend, is set to 45 degree or more.
