PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power train capable of improving the gear shift feeling and traveling performance while operating an engine brake at the highest stage of each range, forming a fail-safe mode into two-dimension, holding four-speed in a D range and three-speed in a C range, and controlling the release by a one-way clutch in all stages of speed. SOLUTION: Two single pinion epicyclic gear sets are combined so as to form a gear shift having four-speed for forward traveling and one-speed for backward traveling. A power train has a line pressure control means for adjusting the line pressure in the operation at a second, a third and a fourth speed, a gear shift control means for converting range pressure between six stages, and an engine brake control means. A hydraulic control system controls this power train. |
