PURPOSE: A decorative plate for construction and a method for constructing a retaining wall or building outer wall is provided to reduce the time and cost of construction by easily installing a retaining wall or building outer wall. CONSTITUTION: A decorative plate for construction comprises: a waterproof sheet(12) installed in the back of a decorative material(11); and a square timber(14) to combine the decorative material with the waterproof sheet. The waterproof sheet is extended to be larger than the decorative material. A sticking portion is formed in the extended portion. A mold(16), a decorative plate(10) and a reinforcing mold(17) are formed. The mold and the reinforcing mold are combined through anchor bolts(15). A concrete is poured and cured between the mold and the decorative plate(10). The mold and the reinforcing mold are dismantled by removing the anchor bolts.
