PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device showing variation in its design. SOLUTION: Two liquid crystal display panels 100, 200 each having a liquid crystal layer sealed in the gap between a pair of transparent substrates having electrodes on the inner faces facing each other are laminated with the panels at least partly overlapping. Then a first polarizing plate 21, second polarizing plate 22 and third polarizing plate 23 are disposed on the uppermost face of the two liquid crystal display panels 100, 200, between the liquid crystal display panels 100, 200 and on the lowermost face, respectively. |
