PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tension member fixing device for a multiple optical cable capable of firmly fixing the tension member for the multiple optical cable and moreover excellent in workability in the case of fixing the tension member. SOLUTION: Respective leg parts 5a, 6a of a pair of fixing members 5, 6 whose cross sections are formed into a nearly U shape are faced each other, the tension member 7a of the multiple optical cable 7 is inserted into nearly V shaped notches 5b, 6b formed in the leg parts 5a, 6a to hold the tension member 7a between respective fixing members 5, 6 and also a fixture 3 inserted into attaching holes 5c, 6c opened in both end sides of respective fixing members 5, 6 is screwed into the boss 2 of a fixing device main body 1. Whereby, the tension member 7a is fixed to the fixing device main body 1. Since the tension member 7a is held and fixed by the nearly V shaped notches 5b, 6b formed in the leg parts 5a, 6a, the tension member 7a is surely fixed, stable fixing force is obtained even if the diameter of the tension member 7a is varied, and this device is allowed to cope with the tension members 7a having various diameters.
