PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a textile softener composition excellent in softening effect and capable of imparting a refreshing feel to textile products. SOLUTION: This textile softener composition comprises (a) a quaternary ammonium compound having one or more 14-36C hydrocarbon groups in a molecule and having a critical micelle concentration existing in a specific range at 30 deg.C, (b) an anionic surfactant having a 10-24C hydrocarbon group, (c) a nonionic surfactant and (d) water in a specific content ratio. A ratio of [the cationic equivalency of the component (a)/the molar number of the component (b)] is (2/3) to (10/1) (mol/mol), and the total content of surfactants except the components (a) and (b) is not larger than 10 wt.%.
