PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot-water bath type vaporizer which can be reduced in weight and size, and moreover is inexpensive. SOLUTION: This hot-water bath type vaporizer is constituted, in such a way that a heat transfer tube bundle 3, which vaporizes liquefied natural gas through heat exchange with hot water 25 and is formed by arranging multipath heat transfer tubes 11 having a plurality of 180 deg. return bends 12 in their end sections, is provided in a shell main body 2 forming a hot-water bath 1. IN the vaporizer, the body 2 is formed in a horizontal cylinder, and the return bends 12 are arranged, so that the heat transfer tubes 11 of the bundle 3 can be arranged effectively in the cross section of the cylinder including oblique arrangement, when it is viewed from the axial direction of the cylinder.
