PURPOSE: An electronic payment system using a credit granting on the Internet and a safe electronic commerce method are provided to satisfy a purchaser and a seller by enabling the purchaser to pay the price for a product after receiving the product, and by enabling the seller to receive the price simultaneously with a transaction. CONSTITUTION: A P/G server(30) transmits a request for authenticating a transaction from a shopping mall server(20) to a credit granting institution server(40). In case that a transaction of a purchaser(10) is authenticated from the credit granting institution server(40), a number of transaction authentication is automatically given and transmitted to the purchaser(10). In case that the purchaser(10) wants to cancel the transaction authenticated, the purchaser(10) directly applies for cancelling the transaction. After that, the P/G server(30) makes requests for cancelling the transaction to the credit granting institution server(40). The shopping mall server(20) is notified of the result. The product which the purchaser(10) wants to return is call-back to the shopping mall(20). The price is refunded to the purchaser(10).
