PURPOSE: A plug type standby power saving device is provided to perform a remote controller of an electronic machine exactly by adopting a remote controller receipt filtering algorithm, and to protect the electronic machine by cutting off an overcurrent, and to decrease a power consumption by cutting off a driving power in the case that the electronic machine maintains a standby state for a fixed time. CONSTITUTION: When a radio signal is inputted to a control part(3) through a remote controller receiving part(1), the control part(3) decides on/off state of an electronic machine. According to the on/off state, the control part(3) controls a trigger signal by driving a transistor(Q2) of a contactless switch part(5). At this time, because the control part(3) decides the on/off state on the basis of a radio signal filtered by an algorithm for filtering a radio signal. After this, a driving power is applied to the electronic machine through the contactless switch part(5). In the case that a mode switch(2) is set up to a save mode, a current detected by a consumption power detecting part(7) is applied to the control part(3). At this time, the current flows through a power line. The control part(3) confirms on/off state according the current strength. When a current state is an off state, the control part(3) counts a time for the off state. When the time is over a fixed time, the control part(3) cuts off the driving power by driving the contactless switch part(5). Namely, because the electronic machine plugs for the fixed time, the control part(3) cuts off the driving power.
