Clear, biaxially oriented film with a thickness of 10-500 mu m, which is based on a crystallizable thermoplastics material (I), also contains ultraviolet (UV) absorber(s) soluble in (I), has gas barrier layer(s) and is drawn in the machine and transverse directions. An independent claim is also included for the production of this film.
