An odor removal system (10) includes an odorous gas inlet (18), a treated gas outlet (19) and a gas treatment flow path from the odorous gas inlet (18) to the treated gas outlet (19). A mixer (14) is coupled in series with the gas treatment flow path and has an ozone inlet (24) coupled to an ozone outlet (22) of an ozone generator (12). A non-thermal plasma reactor (16) is also coupled in series with the gas treatment flow path.
