PURPOSE: A system and method for authenticating and joining a member is provided to unify connection information of a communication service user in a system of a PC room and a contents provider by combining the system of the PC room with the system of the contents provider through a network. CONSTITUTION: A PC room system(100) includes PC room terminals(110a,....,110n), an authentication convertible server(120) and the like. The PC room terminal(110a,....,110n), the authentication convertible server(120) and at least one affiliated enterprise system(130a) are connected through a communication network. A screen display which makes a request for inputting connection information of a user who wants to use a communication service using the PC room terminal(110) on a display unit of the PC room terminal(110). The authentication convertible server(120) converts the information inputted by the user and transmits the information converted to the affiliated enterprise system(130b).
