PURPOSE: A charging pump circuit is provided to boost the voltage of a voltage step smaller than Vdd and improving the efficiency η of a circuit. CONSTITUTION: Diodes(D1, D2) are connected in series, and a power voltage(Vdd) is supplied to the node of the diode(D1). The diodes(D1, D2) can be constituted by a MOS transistor having a gate and a drain that are connected in common. Switches(S1, S2, S3) are used to connect capacitors(C1A, C1B) in parallel or in series to a juncture of the diodes(D1, D2).
