METHOD FOR PREPARING BIS(4-T-BUTYLCYCLOHEXYL)DICARBONATE

PURPOSE: A method for preparing bis(4-t-butylcyclohexyl)dicarbonate is provided to use emulsifying agent that causes the reaction of sodium peroxide with chloroformate, decrease reaction time, and give the compound having high yield and high purity. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of reacting hydrogen peroxide with sodium hydroxide to prepare sodium peroxide, adding the emulsifying agent to the sodium peroxide, and reacting the mixture with chloroformate represented by formula 2 to prepare bis(4-butylcyclohexyl)dicarbonate represented by formula 1. The chloroformate is added the mixture at 25-35deg.C. Thus, the obtained compound has high yield and high purity.
