METHOD OF SEARCHING AND DIALING TELEPHONE NUMBER OF DIGITAL PORTABLE TELEPHONE

PURPOSE: A method of searching and dialing a telephone number of a portable telephone is provided to display a telephone number provided from a KT 114 call center on a liquid crystal display window and dial the displayed telephone number automatically. CONSTITUTION: A machine tone database construction(1), a continuous machine tone(2) and a digital information converting part(4) are provided to a 114 telephone number searching storing unit. A continuous machine sound received from a KT 114 call center is transferred to the database, and the machine sound is compared with contents stored in the database through pattern matching. The machine sound is converted into digital information through the digital information converting part(4). The converted digital number is displayed on an LCD and is dialed directly.
