PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for repairing sealing sheets. SOLUTION: The method for repairing the sealing sheets in a waste disposal plants which is composed of recesses of the ground 1 and sealing sections 2 having low water permeable layers 6 disposed along the recesses and the sealing sheets 5 and in which wastes 3 are discarded into the recesses 1 and the sealing sections 2 are covered by the wastes 3 consists in excavating the discarded wastes 3 to expose the failed point 12 of the sealing sheet, arranging a sealing sheet repair member 33 to the failed point 12 of the sealing sheet and welding the outer peripheral segment of the sealing sheet repair member 33 by a locally heatable welding device 36, thereby welding the sealing sheet 5 and the sealing sheet repair member 33.
