PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a twist prevention tool for sling cables preventing twist in the two sling cables for vertically suspending a heavy object. SOLUTION: A crane 40 is installed with a hook 12, while the two sling cables 10A, 10B are hung from the hook 12. The lower ends of the sling cables 10A, 40B are installed with thimbles 13, while a triangular plate 12, a shackle 14, a hydraset 15, a shackle 16 and a vertical suspension device 17 are installed below the thimbles 13. A long auxiliary rocket is suspended from the suspension device 17. The sling cables 10A, 10B are vertically installed with plural spacers 1 for fixing an interval of the sling cables 10A, 10B at prescribed pitches. When tension is applied to the sling cables 10A, 10B, torque is generated such that respective thin wires untwist. Accordingly, in the absence of the spacers 1, the two sling cables 10A, 10B twist and turns the hook 12 to incur danger. By fixing the interval of the sling cables 10A, 10B by the spacers 1, the twist is prevented.
