PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a sheet-fed printer having a printing sheet separating and discharging means capable of simply, safely and effectively separating and discharging a printing sheet by a mechanism capable of being easily assembled with the printer not having a printing sheet drawing mechanism. SOLUTION: In the sheet-fed printer comprising a supply unit, a printing unit, a monitoring unit, a conveyor and an accumulating unit, the conveyor has a printing sheet separating means. In this case, good one of the sheets inspected by the monitoring unit is accumulated in the accumulating unit via the conveyor, and a defective one is separated and discharged by the conveyor.
