PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely perform cutting work for a deep part by a small-diameter tool at high rigidity and at high speed. SOLUTION: A speed increasing shaft 16 is provided on the central part of a head main body 12 attached to a spindle 100 of a machine tool and to be rotationally driven by the spindle 100, an outer fixed housing 19 to be fixed and connected to a spindle case 101 is provided on the outer peripheral part of the head main body 12, and a planetary gear mechanism (a speed increasing mechanism) 22 for inputting the rotation of the spindle 100 is provided between a speed increasing shaft 18 and the outer fixed housing 19. A hollow and tapered long nose member 27 is attached on the tip of the head main body 12, a tool rotational shaft 28 axially extending in the long nose member 27 is attached on the top of the speed increasing shaft 16, the tool rotational shaft 28 is rotatably supported at the tip side of the long nose member 27 by a bearing member 30, and a small-diameter tool 33 is attached on the tip of the tool rotational shaft 28 by a tool holding body 32.
