PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain substitutes for plasticizers such as 2-ethylhexyl phthalate (DOP) which are at present being used in halogen-containing resin compositions and are in doubt about environmentally disruptive substances (endocrine disruptors). SOLUTION: This halogen-containing resin composition which gives superior heat resistance, colorability, transparency and weatherability comprises 100 pts.wt. halogen-containing resin and 0.01-200 pts.wt. one or more fumaric esters and/or one or more zinc compounds.
