PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traveling state presenting device making a passenger prepared for switching of a traveling mode in advance, by presenting a traveling state of an automatically operated vehicle to the passenger. SOLUTION: This traveling state presenting device is used for an automatic traveling vehicle controlling the traveling of a vehicle by switching automatically conducted automatic driving control and manual driving control by a driver. The traveling state presenting device comprises; an external traveling environment detecting device 102 for recognizing environment information around a vehicle; an own vehicle state detecting device 103; a automatic driving travel controller 104 for determining the stability of automatic driving control on the basis of detected information, and distinguishing three states, namely a stable automatic driving control state, a manual driving control, and an unstable automatic driving control between the former two; and an indicating controller 108 for indicating an image changed in an inclination of a steering wheel and an indicating area according to the distinguished result on a monitor 110. |
