PURPOSE: A dome tweeter of an audio system and a method of fabricating the tweeter are provided which omits many assembling and constructing procedures to manufacture a large amount of tweeters within a short period of time, reducing working manpower and manufacturing cost. CONSTITUTION: A dome tweeter of an audio system includes a diaphragm(10), a voice coil(20), and a base assembly. The diaphragm has a dome(11) at the center, and an edge(12) and a center protrusion guide groove(13) are formed around the dome. The voice coil is constructed in such a manner that a coil(22) is wind around a voice coil bobbin(21) formed of a thin metal plate. The base assembly is injection-molded to have a ring shape and has a magnetic circuit at the bottom. The base assembly includes a plurality of connection terminals formed at a portion horizontally extended from the flange, a guide protrusion projected from the flange, and a center setting protrusion protruded from the center. The base assembly further has an accommodation groove along which the voice coil is inserted having a margin.
