PURPOSE: A dielectric layer of a plasma display panel is provided to produce the dielectric layer by one step and to satisfy the material characteristic required as a dielectric layer for a plasma display panel. CONSTITUTION: In the method of manufacturing the dielectric layer of plasma, first, a maintenance electrode pair(32) and a bus electrode(33) are patterned on a front-end substrate(31). Here, the maintenance electrode pair(32) is made of transparent elements like ITO. And a dielectric layer(34) is formed on the front-end substrate(31) including the bus electrode(33) and the maintenance electrodes(32). Next a protection layer(35) is formed covering the dielectric layer(34). Here, the dielectric layer(34) is a single layer, not of a double sub-layer structure. In particular, the dielectric layer(34) is made of crystallized glass element. |
