Gripping device is formed as loop arranged on each cable and adapted to be tightened. Before lifting process, cable with left-hand coil is wound onto drum and cable with right-hand coil is in unwound state. Drum driving is performed through worm and chain transmissions by means of three foot pedals arranged circumferentially through 120 deg. EFFECT: simplified lifting and lowering along shaft, improved safety and reduced damage to shaft surface. 7 dwg
