SUBSTANCE: plasma light source has discharge-gas-filled case with transparent wall whose inner surface is covered with phosphor layer and set of electrodes mounted inside the case. Electrode set is, essentially, cloth formed by conducting and insulating threads; cloth warp is formed by alternating parallel insulating and conducting threads and its weft, by insulating threads, or vice versa; relative position of conducting threads is maintained by insulating threads arranged along them to form relatively independent address electrodes. Coefficient of thermal expansion of insulating and conducting threads is 0.9-1.1 of that of case walls. EFFECT: facilitated manufacture and reduced cost of light source. 8 cl, 3 dwg |
