PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system of low power consumption by avoiding unnecessarily holding a transmission line of a token ring LAN system in an active state. SOLUTION: The transceiver device 100 is interposed between transmission lines 103 of the token ring LAN system 10 and links LAN connecting device 101 to this system 10, and a transmission control circuit 107 inputs a signal to an enable terminal of a driver 105 sending data to an adjacent node 102 according to the reception of a signal 110 by a receiver 104 and a transmission acknowledgement signal 114 from the LAN connecting device 101 to switch the drive 105 to an active or inactive state.
