PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system capable of converting colors and capable of conversion based on other information. SOLUTION: This system stores color managing conversion for expressing a parameter to be used for controlling the reproduction of a conventional color picture channel by at least one input channel by using a grid table typically. This system magnifies converting structure based on a conventional grid table having additional channels for controlling the scanning of a related color model. These additional channels control neither a conventional color channel nor a pixel picture channel such as red, green, blue but for the other aspect of color conversion such as an exposure level or saturation. Objects to be magnified includes identification information for identifying the kind of control given by the additional channel (i.e., exposure, gray component replacement, etc).
