The composite product has at least one surface comprising natural fibers in a plastic matrix. In a first step a plastic material identical to or compatible with the plastic matrix is applied over the whole or part of the surface of the composite product. In a second step the composite product is joined to the component by activating the applied plastic and bringing the component into contact with it.
